Deaf Services

If you are Deaf or hard of hearing and live in the Knowsley Borough we can provide equipment to support your daily life. We will arrange an appointment with you to visit your home and assess your needs. We will tell you about the equipment available to overcome the difficulties you are facing.

For example you may be……

  • Unable/struggling to hear the doorbell
  • Unable/struggling to hear the television
  • Unable/struggling to hear the telephone
  • Missing part of conversation
  • Unable/struggling to hear the alarm clock/smoke alarm

Following an assessment, a range of equipment or small aids to help may be provided at no cost.  The service is available to Knowsley residents of all ages.
