As a cross generational resident-led group, they are working in partnership with us at the Knowsley Centre for Independent Living to:

  • Improve and integrate existing services as well as help shape & influence new services.
  • Share knowledge, expertise and information.
  • Develop a strong and united voice for disabled people, carers and vulnerable residents.
  • Improve the lives of disabled people and their families across Knowsley.

The Knowsley User Led Organisation are a practical and very active group based at the Knowsley Centre for Independent Living. They also host a range of FREE community activities in our showroom area, from cooking classes, arts & crafts activities, community training as well as information talks.

“We are excited to be on board with the Knowsley Centre for Independent Living and we as a group of local people with diverse disabilities and caring responsibilities really do want to build and strengthen the services and support available to people in Knowsley at the Centre”.  AC
